|Format means to erase the HDD & setup a file system such as FAT32 or NTFS to accept data. You don't need a Windows disc to format; there are numerous other programs that can be used.|
You can also format as part of the Windows installation process. To create a bootable CD from your ISO, you will need the proper software - CDBurner XP is a good one, as is ImgBurn. Both are free & can be found by doing a search.
If you prefer USB, use Rufus to setup your pen drive, not solution.rar.
