Sir,
would it be possible to format the pc using windows xp iso and install the Operating system in my pc. please tell me.

Format means to erase the HDD & setup a file system such as FAT32 or NTFS to accept data. You don't need a Windows disc to format; there are numerous other programs that can be used.

You can also format as part of the Windows installation process. To create a bootable CD from your ISO, you will need the proper software - CDBurner XP is a good one, as is ImgBurn. Both are free & can be found by doing a search.

If you prefer USB, use Rufus to setup your pen drive, not solution.rar.

Yes, if you have a legal and genuine Product Key for that Windows version, otherwise you won't be able to activate it.

Create a CD from the ISO file, then boot your PC from that CD.

Everything can be done from within Windows Setup (delete, create or format partitions, install Windows etc).

Older systems may not allow a usb boot

USB sticks won't be large enough I suspect to hold the ISO.

Burn it to a DVD; and then boot with that.
