How do I fix this dll error message?

Specs: Windows XP
I keep getting a dll error message that says: "The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\kizinone.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

I have gone to the system registry to find the file it is referencing and there isn't one there. I have run a norton registry cleanup and a virus scan. I haven't found anything online that references this dll file. The message pops up any time I start a new program. How do I fix this issue, or find the virus that is causing it.

It seems you are correct.... there is no reference to the .dll online. Can you restore to an earlier time?

Try MalwareBytes freebie. That often finds and fixes viruses that AV's miss.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
