Solved How do I find: file, cut, paste, copy, undo etc to use on my

March 23, 2012 at 21:04:41
Specs: Windows Vista
There used to be at the top of my screen a horizontal row of icons: file, edit, (undo, cut, paste, copy,) etc. It used to be so easy to use these helps when writing e-mails. Or if I wanted to copy something it would hold it until I moved to my e-mail or document. I don't know if that bar is hiding behind something or if they do not have that on computer screens anymore. I have a Fujitsu lap top. If they don't have this anymore, how do I do these things? Thank you SO much!!! dm.

If you want it there permanently, right click a blank part of your toolbar and check Menu Bar.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

It's to do with the newer browsers (IE & Firefox) rather than your particular laptop. By default they don't seem to think we need to see such things. Possibly because of laptop vertical screen height being less than monitors.
