How do I dual boot two Hard drives system?

October 14, 2010 at 23:22:48
Specs: Windows XP Home Edition, Pentium 4 1.80 GHz / 1.250 GB
I have two hard drives on my computer. One hard drive (Master) has Windows XP Home Edition and the second hard drive (Slave) has Windows XP Professional.

How can I get the black screen where I can decide which OS I want to be on without opening my computer and changing the jumpers from Slave to Master?

Do I leave the jumpers alone or do I change them both to Master for the dual boot?

Leave the Master/Slave jumpers alone - edit Boot.ini to reflect both OS.

If both OS were installed on your pc the necessary Boot.ini entries should have been created during the install. If you have simply added a system drive from another pc it probably won't boot.
