how do i delete missing partitions on my hard

Specs: Windows Vista
I installed a fresh copy of xp onto a 160gb partitioned drive and now only have a 130 gb drive with only the partition with the new instal accessable. How do i recover the missing partitions so i can delete them and regain the missing 30 gb drive space?.

go into disk management and report what you see here for your drive.

I ran problem drive as a slave in another computer and was able to solve my problem through disk management as you suggested. the missing partition was revealed this way whereas it would not show itself when drive was run as master. thank you for your interest and advice. my issue is now resolved and i have regained hdd,s full storage capacity as well as learning more
