I have set up a Thunderbird programme to access e-mails, but don,t know how to get into Thunderbird. Previously, I was with Outlook Express, but unable to access e-mails due to error message- LAN Connection failed.
Do you mean that you can't even open Thunderbird? You ought to be able to open Outlook Express and look at emails even if your LAN connection is failed, so I have a job to understand this.
There is an import feature in Thunderbird that should pick up your emails, although that "might" be difficult if OE has messed them up somehow.
Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
If you get the error message, that the LAN connection failed, you first have to check, whether it fails.
Is the LAN cable connected correctly?
Are you able, to browse the internet?
