HKCU\software\microsoft\windowsNT\current ver

Specs: Windows XP pro, intel p4 3.0/1gb
at start up it states that it can not start the program that is associated with HKCU\software\microsoft\windowsNT\current version\windows:run reinstall the program or delete it from the registry. How do I find this program?

I'd be worried it was a virus.

You can make a backup of the registry and then delete the key to test.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?

... click "start" run (type) regedit [press enter]

... follow the path

+HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

... click the \Run << folder, next in the right pane google the file name that was kicking in as windows started up.
