Specs: Windows XP, pentium 4/3.0 MHZ
I just recently bought Hidden and Dangerous 2, and after dieing on the second level in the jungle (Burma=you have to conquer the machine gun nests at the top of the hill with the other squad of men you met at the beginning of the mission), I try to hit the load button. The screen then goes black and nothing happens. I am forced to power off my computer and turn it back on. Also, on the first mission in Burma where you had to destroy the bridge, I hit the escape key at the beginning of the mission, and it automatically took me to the Mission Success screen and started the next level. So, my load features are messed up and the fact that I skipped that level out of the blue.

My biggest issue right now is this:
Since my game kept freezing, I decided to try the Repair option that came with the game. After doing the repair option, I try to run the game and get the error message:

Wrong CDKey. Please contact Illusion Softworks."

Is there anything I can do to get my game back to normal so I can please continue to play it?? Any files I can edit to drop my cdkey into?

System Details:

Custom Built Machine
Pentium 4 1.8ghz
Sony 52x24x52 CD-RW (run game out of this cdrom)
Sony DVD-Rom

Thanks for your help

Just becuase you bought the game you can't eliminate the possibility it is counterfeit.

I suggest you uninstall the game and then reinstall it using the key that came with the game. If you still get issues with the key, contact the manufacturer of the game.

If there is an uninstall folder/file in the game folder under Program files, I suggest you use that to uninstall.

Do a clean install of XP. Install all service packs and updates. Install all updates to devices and all extra software that may be needed like directx. Then install game. If it fails then either the game is bad or the hardware is bad. I'd suspect the hardware.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
