A 'wildcard' in computing terms is a character that can can
represent one or more other characters. So if you're doing a
search for all .jpg files you would search for *.jpg where the * is
the wildcard and can be any filename.

Do a Google for 'Computer Wildcard' & you'll find more
explanations.

Not all applications accept a wildcard request.

The three most important things in computing:
1. Backups, 2. Backups and 3. Backups.
