Specs: Windows XP, intel pentium 3
i m sorry if my english is not good but it's my
third language , i cant run my pc , it keeps reboot
itself all the time , i cant go even on safe mode , i
did IDE DPS self-test and the result was : test
failed with completion :15 im scared i will have
the change the hard disk

Well if your drive failed the test then it means you have bad sectors or a complete drive failure. I hope you backup. You can try to do a repair on the drive if it is simply bad sectors. You have to boot from your Windows XP systems disk and Press "R" when it tells you to to get in the recovery console. Then you will run CHKDSK to fix the drive. Read this...

This will not fix a bad drive but may get it to the point that you can get some of your data off of it.

Yes, but before you do you might want to run a CHKDSK to see if you can save any of the data.
