I assume you mean your system disk is saying it is running out of space.

Try disk cleanup. Right click C: properties

You could download Ccleaner & run that to clean up you disk.

What size is the disk?

If you have lots of large video files, all you need to do is copy them to you 1TB drive, then delete them from the C: (system) drive.

Post details of size of hard disk in pc. I assume My book is an external drive. You do not need any programs. You sound like you are new to pc's I would not recommend you use a partition manager.

A thank you would be nice, if I have helped.

I really don't want to spring for a lager hdd I thought I could get away with the external (my book) and yes I'm new to pc's
Thanks again rd

Disk Cleanup isn't enough, you need to use a program like CCleaner-Slim. How about deleting some of the crap & uninstalling unused programs? Or transferring your files to an external HDD or DVDs? If you don't have some sort of backup plan in place, your system is just an accident waiting to happen. When's the last time you emptied the Recycle Bin? Until you empty it, those files are still taking up space on the HDD.

So, just to confirm, your system disk is 74GB, just about full.

My Book I assume is an external hard drive. 1TB?

As said by mickliq, uninstall programs from your system disk & use Ccleaner.

Are you saying that your 1TB external disk is nearly full?

What do you have on My Book?

A thank you would be nice, if I have helped.
