Specs: Windows XP PRO 2002 SP2, 266 /3RAM NOW 4 RAM
WINDOWS XP PRO SP2 INTEL 2.66 DUO CORE. I GET 3079 IN BOOT STARTUP BUT IN SYS. INFO. IT SAYS 4 GIG. BUT NOW PC IS WAY SLOWER INSTEAD OF BETTER PERFORMANCE. MB IS ELITEGROUP PT890T-A. SHOW I CHANGE CMOS SETTING? HELP

Windows 32bit versions reserve approx 1 gb out of the 4gb maximum for hardware purposes and depending on what specific hardware you will usually see between 2.8 and 3.2gb available ram. This is nothing unusual.

You have not provided any details of the motherboard or specifications of the ram you have so it isn't possible to advise if any change to bios settings will help.

And please take off the CAPSLOCK. Typing in all caps is considered as shouting, and it is uncomfortable to read.

You say it is slower "now". Can we assume you have increased the RAM or was it something else you did?
