Either your CMOS battery is failing or you made an erroneous change in the BIOS settings.

This is usually cuased when you may have a dead or failing CMOS/system clock. The system "forgets" the settings each time the computer is shut down and power is cut.

When you boot to Windows does it show the correct date and time? If not you'll neeed a new CMOS battery, usually CR2032 and about $5 at most stores.

The 'press F2 to continue' should be accompanied by some error message. What is it?

Make sure all inside & outside cables are plugged in properly.

Try/borrow another keyboard.
