harddisk file transfer

Specs: Windows XP
My os is xp. I would like to transfer files from disk c to d, as c has only 4gb free space remaining. How to achieve this please ? Thank you .dr

One thing that you can do it move the 'My Documents' folder to the other drive. If you have Tweakui, it has an option to move several windows folders. 'My Documents' is usually pretty large. Look in the 'My Computer' section for the 'move' option.

You could also uninstall/reinstall whatever applications that you have the install program for, and put them on the other drive.

Your welcome, droo. I should have mentioned that the Tweakui option doesn't do the actual move, it just changes the operating System pointer. I suggest that you make a copy instead of moving, and then check it out for a while before deleting the original folder.
