Specs: Windows XP
i keep getting error messages that i need to update me video card. however, i have no experience with video cards. i did a little research and Radeon 4770 is what i am considering. My questions are:
Do you think this is a good choice? i am on a budget.
Is a video card hard to install?
What is the difference, if any, between a video card and a graphic card?

i dont want to mess up my computer and i dont know what to do.

i did try to update the driver but it said it couldnt find compatible hardware to upgrade.

NVIDIA RIVA TNT2/TNT2 Pro is what i currently have.

thanks alot guys!

Installation of video card is not so difficult once you learned it but still you must at least know some one who can teach you first. See youtube they some times give guides on how to install a video cad and how to update a driver. Also see Nvidia's site I think there is guide there on how to update your video card's driver.

"NVIDIA RIVA TNT2/TNT2 Pro is what i currently have"

Then you're not gonna be able to install a Radeon HD4770. The TNT is either PCI or AGP, NOT PCI-express.

Here's you system specs:

IMO, it's not a system worth sinking any money into.
