If you feel like one more try, use this in Advanced mode.

Revo Uninstaller
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/...
http://www.softpedia.com/progScreen...
http://www.revouninstaller.com/
Open Revo, double click on a program logo, click > Yes & then you get your options, with Advanced down the bottom.
If you have partially uninstalled your program, you get a message from Revo, that it can't find the uninstaller, hit Cancel & let Revo continue on, to search for the remnants.
If you get a reboot message, ignore it & do it after Revo has finished.
I use Advanced Mode. Screenshots of how to use.

I don't see how the 4 drivers they identifed related to audio, video has anything to do with Google Chrome not launching. As for the other suggestion of running Malware, I did that yesterday and followed the steps they suggested. It did not resolve anything. I tried uninstalling Google Chrome and it came back with the message to "please close google chrome windows and try again" - I had nothing open!

I will try once again to uninstall Google Chrome but I'm sure it will come back with the same message: "Please close all google chrome windows and try again".

I will let you know.

"I will try once again to uninstall Google Chrome"

The important part is to Delete the Profile

I tried again and I still get the same message about closing google chrome windows & try again!.
Are you saying I should delete the profile first? I was following the steps by uninstalling first then I was going to delete the profile.
I think I will just bring the PC in somewhere as I've been on this for a few days now with not much success!
Thanks for all your help

Your #2 seems to be related to something we know nothing about on this forum.

"drivers they identified related to audio"
Who are they and who suggested MalwareBytes? Maybe you have a link..

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

When I initially asked the question, there was a note to check window drivers, which I did, hence one of my replies. I went to a computer store and explained my situation and they told me to run Malware bytes. I did and it came back with some files to delete. I'm still no further ahead. I cannot chose a "best answer" right now as nothing as worked.

Next, run both of these, in this order.

1: Run AdwCleaner

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your Desktop.
Close all open programs and internet browsers.
Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
Click on Clean.
Confirm each time with Ok.
Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
Please Copy & Paste the contents of that logfile with your next answer.
You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S1].txt as well.

2: Run Junkware Removal Tool

Download Junkware Removal Tool to your Desktop.
Warning! Once the scan is complete JRT will shut down your browser with NO warning.
Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
Temporarily disable your antivirus and any antispyware real time protection before performing a scan.
Click this link to see a list of security programs that should be disabled and how to disable them.

Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7/8, right-click JRT and select Run as Administrator.
The tool will open and start scanning your system.
Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your Desktop and will automatically open.
Copy and Paste the contents of the JRT.txt log please.
