Everytime I boot my pc, I get message that Arcsoft Connect Daemon stopped working and I am unable to disable this notification, evem after i allow to send Error Report to Microsoft. My OS is Windows XP. How to solve this irritating notification
Use CCleaner to see all the items that start with Windows: Start CCleaner, go to Tools >> Startup
One of those lines will refer to Arcsoft Connect Daemon.
Highlight that line, then click the "Disable" button.
Now test it has worked by restarting Windows.
Get CCleaner here:
Start > Run > msconfig > OK > Startup Tab > remove check mark beside offending entry > Apply > Ok ____________________________________________

Go to Control Panel and uninstall all Arcsoft junk or at least the connect daemon. If you can't bear to do that then follow #2 above (look for Arcsoft entry). Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
Thank you, you have solved my problem.
