Solved getting error 800a0046 at log in

Specs: Windows XP
this is what i get on the screen at logon

\\domain name\sysvol\domain name\policies\{IE7B7A.....}\user\scripts\logon\openintranet.vbs

source: Microsoft VBScript runtime error


what does this mean and how do i resolve it...
also search companion does not work and i would like to enable this feature. when i try to start the service it keeps stopping..is there a link between the error message and the search companion??

Contact your IT department, and they should get you in touch with whoever's responsible for writing AD logon scripts. Ask him those same questions.

i was told that the script ran ok from their end. is that the only end where this can be fixed??

It didn't run fine; it errored out on line five. It says so right there.
