Getting constant BSOD STOP F4

I am experiencing a constant STOP F4 crash (BSOD), as well as some 77 and D1

After extensive hw checking looks like only 2 possibilities are left: HD or OS

I would like to recheck the HD. What utility is adequate for that (and free)? Does it repair defective sectors?

I have been told Seagate SeaTools Desktop and Active Hard Disk Monitoring. This one tells me 1 disk is on WARNING Health Status and the other two on ALARM

thanks

amc, dunnno about any repair tools, but it might be worth your while to take a look at the link below to see if your error is listed and if it is, what's suggested.
Take a look at:

yes, thanks, I did, but the only recommendation is to check every piece of hw one by one... RAM and HD being the most probable to fail.
