|A factory reset (if that's what he did) should have included PB Smart Restore System. It is possible that Packard Bell could provide it at a cost - try their contact website.|
If you want to go back to before they did the re-install then that is now likely to be near impossible. The Smart Restore would only take you back to whenever it is now installed.
Sadly many repair outfits don't worry about customers personal data getting lost but in future the way to avoid it is regularly backing it up onto another device, such as a USB HD.
