my monitors ARE SET RIGHT -so desktop backround fits, but when i run a game, or program, fullscreen. it looks like a box insideof its screen can anyone direct me?

There are 2 resolutions - the desktop resolution & the game resolution. Assuming you have an LCD monitor, the desktop resolution should be set to the "native resolution" for the monitor. I can't tell you what that is because you didn't list the make/model. But to set it, all you need to do is right click anywhere on the desktop screen, click Properties, click the Settings tab, the adjust the slider under Screen Resolution. As for the game resolution, that is adjusted from the game menu. Obviously you have to start the game before you can access that menu.
