flash player does not work for windows xp

March 10, 2011 at 15:44:57
Specs: Windows XP
In Chrome it simply does not tell that it is flash player issue but it becomes obvious when none of the audio , video in You Tube work. In internet explorer, it suggests to download and install flash player which is already installed. So, the already installed flash player can not be uninstalled and reinstalled as it is not found in Add/remove programs in Control Panel.

Thanks for this link. I decided to uninstall chrome, and after logging in as an admin on windows XP, I reinstalled chrome as a pack containing upgrade for adobe (acrobat 9) for multiple users. Still back as a user, the YouTube was giving the same problem by not showing the play button. Also the internet explorer was showing the same problem as well but just saying reinstall flash player. I had tried several times to download and re-install flash player but it never worked. But, when I had exhausted all efforts and thought about giving up on YouTube videos, just then, when I tried chrome again, it started working again. Though, I don't recall but perhaps as an admin, I must have reinstalled flash and I guess previously it was all as a user.
So, the problem is gone for now.
