Files jump from one drive to another drive

Specs: Windows XP
Dear Sir,


I format my PC but local disk files is jumping D Drive files jumped to E Drive and E drive files is jumping F drive but F drive files is not there. How to recover F drive files.

I think you should rephrase this as it is almost impossible to understand! Do you mean that the drive letters have changed?

I think that is what he does mean. The files haven't moved any where. The operating system has just allocated them different drive letters which will happen when a drive is formatted.
