I would first install MalwareBytes (freebie) - get it's updates before running.
This can sometimes unearth things AV's miss.
After that you could try typing msconfig in the Run box. If this file appears in the Startup you could untick it there to get things moving until the problem is fixed more permantly. It is possible to remove startup entries in the registry if you are happy in there - I can assist.
