|I just bought a Ge-Force GT 520 and a Syncmaster TA550 monitor, and they're connected using a HDMI cable. I installed the video drivers, than the monitor driver and setup the resolution to 1920x1080. Every time I reboot or shutdown & bring it back up, the resolution changes. I can not even see the text on the "welcome" screen. When the desktop shows up, I got giant icons.|
To fix it I have to go to resolution settings, adjust it to something smaller than 1920x1080, then set it back up to 1920x1080. And I have to that after any reboot or shutdown/power up operation.
I used the latest driver for my video adapter (from manufacture web site), but I still had the same issue
Tried the same video card & monitor under Ubuntu & Windows 7. And it worked fine for both. But I don't have all the things I want form Ubuntu & Windows 7 slows my PC down.
