Camera will not send email through SSL encrypted email. I need email without SSL encryption - default port 25. Any assistance/suggestions would be appreciated.
What kind of camera is this that has a built in Email client? I suspect there is something important you are missing here. Every Email client I have comes across has the option to use SSL or not depending on what services the Email server provides.

The Camera is a DLink-DCS-920 and requires email without SSL encryption with default port 25. I contacted my ISP provider and they were unable to help me.I am currently using Microsoft Outlook email with Bell as ISP provider. My search on the Internet has revealed a few others having this same problem but no solution so far.I may very well be missing something here as my knowledge is limited. Feel free to tell what I am missing.
Having looked at the FAQ the conclusion I come to is that you are pretty much screwed. This is a limitation of the camera software that there is little you can do anything about. The last sentence of the FAQ says it all. The only solution I can suggest is that you find an Email provider that does accept SMPT without SSL. Possibly a Gmail, Yahoo or one of the other free Email providers.
The only other solution is to configure the camera to save snapshots to the hard disk then write a script that send the snapshots via Outlook periodically but that's getting a bit technical.
