hi there

i couldnt find anything on this topic it seems more or less people have problems with not being able to read blank discs but in my situation everytime i put a blank disc in, it reads it perfectly with 0 problems. however, when it comes to a game it seems to spin it and try to read it but then it shows that there is nothing in the drive, maybe 1 in 50 times it will recognize it, i tried updating the the drivers, nothing, i tried uninstalling and rebooting the computer, nothing. im beginning to think about just buying an external drive but obviously if it reads blank cd's and writes them fine but doesn't read games then something just isn't clicking. im no computer genius but im not dumb either, unlplugging and screwing around with the bios im clueless on.

the drive is a LG GSA-H55N

any help is appreciated,

thanks, philip

Are the game disks commercially produced or copies?
