When exactly do you see this message?

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

D: is usually the cdrom. Is your cdrom working?

D: is also often a "Restore or Recovery Partition". It may or may not be set as hidden.

If you look in Disk Manager (diskmgmt.msc) any drives/partitions will show as they don't "need" a Drive Letter.

It's a good day when you learn something
