Specs: Windows XP, Intel Celeron 1.30GHz
If I download Firefox do I only have to click "Download"? Will everything be loaded and installed automatically? Do I have to do any tweeking of any settings, etc.? If it gets to technical it would make me a bit uncomfortable.

If you're uncomfortable changing settings, just install it & use it. Make sure to import your favorites from IE (if that's what you've been using). Hopefully you have SP3 installed.

Yes, I have XP Pro with SP3. How do I import my favorites from IE? Is that a separate process from downloadiing/installing Firefox?

It usually gives you the choice to import Favorites to Firefox during install. Just install it for starters and see what happens.

If not you Export them using IE, then import them using Firefox. It's all in Google if you get stuck, or come back here.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
