You might want to google "rumikegu.dll" (if you can). The results may interest you...

so i googled it and eventually got to a site called spyware terminator from which i downloaded spyware scan stuff and after i ran it, i don't get the error any more on boot up of the computer, but now i'm concerned that something in THIS software might cause problems.

Assuming you got it from a legit site, it should be OK. Seems to have decent reviews:

There is program that wants to run on startup and that is depending on this dll.

Go to start - run and type: msconfig

In the popup screen you will see all programs that will run at startup.
Also their owners (companies) and the path to their exe. (in command colomn)
Look for something STRANGE
Un-select the line and it wont give you the message anymore
You can also delete the exe if it is still on your system.
