Is the hard drive shown in the BIOS?
Is the exclamation mark shown on the hard drive or on the hard drive controller?

You can upload files to e.g. http://imageshack.us/ and post the link you get here.

If you can see the hard drive in Windows, it's also shown in the BIOS, that is the very first thing, that gets loaded and holds information about floppy drive, hard drives, system memory, processor, USB a.s.o.

Mostly you can enter the BIOS directly when switching on the computer, after the first beep sound, by pressing the key F2 or DEL. There are sometimes other keys used to enter the BIOS, depending on the computer, you have.

Aidensharplin

the links do not work for me, it tells me, that I have to be logged in.
I guess, you copied the wrong link.
When you upload a picture and the upload has finished, right below the search button, there should be shown the web link you need to post here.

I guess, you have to delete the CD/DVD from the device manager and restart the computer.
During startup, windows should recognize the DVD automatically and should make a new entry in the device manager.
