The usb can be disabled in the bios, but I don't believe the device manager can be disabled in a home version of xp. In professional versions one may create a security template, but I'm not sure that would solve your problem.
Harddisk was detecting in da BIOS, but it is loading OS too slow. Every time it is checking CHKDSK. After detecting in BIOS, it is taking 5-10 mins to load O.S, every time with errors. In sometimes, ntldlr, etc... files are missing. Please suggest me.
