- In Services, my DHCP Client (local) is set on automatic, however every time I restart my computer it, I need to go into Services and start it up, as it is not doing it automatically.
do you get a message when first logging in about a service not starting?
any clues in event viewer logs?
is it running under local system?Answers are only as good as the information you provide.
How to properly post a question:
- I tried "repair" under network connections, which worked once only.
- The Event viewer stated "The DHCP Client service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion."
- I believe it is a local system. It is a home computer with Rogers High Speed internet. I do not have multiple computers.
