Dell laptop won't boot-tpm is missing or tpm has a problem

Specs: Windows 7
my dell vostro 2510 stops booting at the windows xp logo screen and blue screens so fast I can't get an error code. At the beginning of boot seq. it says, "tpm is missing or tpm has a problem." The cd/dvd drive also isn't working so how do I fix this?

"TPM" stands for "Trusted Platform Module" and is a security measure built in to some Dells (and other computers). It sounds like something has gone wrong with it. I think your best bet is to talk to Dell support about this.
