delay in receiving email on outlook

Specs: Windows XP
Hi there,
Every now and then I seem to receive emails that were sent to me months and months ago. I have outlook XP 2003. Anyone can help please?

Check your clock settings.
XP.
To get away from default.
http://tf.nist.gov/service/its.htm
Time ( clock ) being reset by Microsoft.
Double click on time ( bottom r/h side of screen )
Click on > Internet Time.
Tick > Automatically synchronize.
Server, select by clicking on the button > time.nist.gov ( Copy & Paste this, more reliable > tock.usno.navy.mil. )
Click Apply & OK.

Make sure your Regional and Language Options settings are Ok.

Screen 4: 2 instances of United States or whatever your area is.

Screen 5: 2 instances of United States or whatever your area is.

Changing Language for non-Unicode Programs
Advanced > 2 instances of United States or whatever your area is ( may only have 1 available )
