Depending on the version of Deepfreeze installed it could do what you describe. Install the latest version and your problems should be over.

Curious - why do you have Deepfreeze installed on your computer? Do you know the benefits and non benefits of running Deepfreeze on your home computer?

You can use Deepfreeze as an anti virus if you wish. That is not the intended use of the program and with everything else that it takes away from your computer, it is not the first choice as an antivirus program. It in fact is a very poor choice as an antivirus program. Use a paid AV or a freebie program and you will be better off in that capacity.
