Add in recovery console. I don't know why a custom xp would not have repair tools on the cd.

That seems to happen with a slipstream made os installation cd made with for example with nlite. Repair option does not appear on these custom make discs. Don't know if other programs have the same issue that are used to make a custom installation disc as I only tried nlite myself.

is the recovery console same with the repair option? i think the recovery console is the commant promt which is different with the repair option. the only difference is they are both removed in the installer..
so how can i integrate again the repair option in windows, what program should i use and what is the file i needed.

Seems like it can be done. Googled around a bit it seems to be an unattended area in program used to create a custom disc. One such posting discuss it: http://siginetsoftware.com/forum/sh...

Still a little techie for me. Hope somebody here can help to simplify for you and others.
