I have been facing severe problem with Ctrl key as it is disabled and I can't use it in Ms Office applications nor in web browsers. Ctrl key combination shortcuts are not working. I tried several options such as Sticky Keys in Accessibility Options and Restoring computer to an earlier point, but none is able to solve the problem and enable the Ctrl key working. Is there any registry problem. I would appreciate if any one could solve the problem..

Try a different keyboard.

It's not a mechanical problem. Not the control key struck in keyboard, but its function is disabled. Guess it could be due to some registry corrupted by any virus though I have up to date antivirus in my system.
