crashes on internet

Sony / Vgc-rb40
February 11, 2010 at 10:36:11
Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, 3 GHz / 2046 MB
I got a virus and had to do a complete system restore. Now I am having trouble getting my video graphics card to work and when I go to the internet using either internet Explorer or Slim Browser they crash after a few minutes. I can't download anything like the drivers for my video card, which is a Radeon 4670 HIS ICEQ etc. None of my video games will play either, even simple ones like 7 wonders will not work.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Jim Smith

None. I just ran the system recovery disks that Sony sold me to completely redo my hard drive.

The virus I got would eliminate what ever program I tried to use and then I finally gave up and redid the whole thing

I assume that after installing the recovery disks, your network &
graphics drivers would be installed.

So, then I assume you have now installed anti virus software.

Try running a scan with the anti virus.

You could also run anti spyware programs like superantispyware
malwarebytes http://www.malwarebytes.org/
