Specs: Windows XP
Been given a PC with Windows XP Media installed. After clearing a ton of unwanted games and AOL from it I have found that the INTERNET OPTIONS has been removed from the Control Panel. The Icon is still there but no listing.
Any ideas ?

Don Griffiths, SWAG, my guess is that something you deleted (AOL?) was being used for access (opening?). Try restore to a point where it works and then delete the items one at a time 'till you locate the culprit. Maybe you simply need to change your 'open with' option? IE will open most things.

Don, Can you access Internet Options in the Tools Menu in Interent Explorer? If not go to the link below click on "Win XP Fixes" (left side), click on "Fix Internet Options Restriction" (left column) then click on "xp_fix_internetoptions.vbs" to download a vbs file fix. Instructions are on the page.
