Computer won't boot, just beeps continuously 1 long & 2 short beeps when I turn it on and monitor flashes:no signal & shuts off so I can't access my bios screen. I added additional ram/2G PC2--6400/800 MHz DDR2. I have an Asus motherboard:M2N68-AM SE2 and I'm a novice...sorry but I need help w/troubleshooting. When I remove the new memory stick, still beeps even w/original memory. Removed cmos battery and still beeps (long/2 short). Made sure memory was seated properly and closed end clips...still nothing. Could this board be that sensitive or memory was bad/not compatible??? Any help would be great..thanks a bunch!

Thanks @JoliCloud, I've been googling, youtube and on the phone w/techs and seems memory is not being read. Will take to tech tomorrow and have both tested (orig/new) and see what the skinny is. Definitely sending new chip back & will never order from them again, they charge a 15% restocking fee (if chip is good, which is why I will be testing).
Tried all trouble shooting that I was able to, including taking to repair shop. Called ASUS and they sent me a RMA pp (board is still under warranty) and I will be shipping on Tues. Lucky for me I have a laptop to work on. Happy Memorial Day and eat lots of BBQ!
