Specs: Windows XP
Hi, I am on a campus network that provides me with a port for a single connection to the internet (no hubs/switches etc.permitted) I have a second NIC in my PC that I want to use to connect to a LAN. The LAN has a DHCP server and the PC will connect and receive an IP. However, if the internet connection is active and I connect to the LAN, I lose access to the internet. Is there a way to interact with the internet and my LAN simultaneously?

Thanks for the link. With a bit of searching I found an example on the web from someone else who was trying to do somethning similar to me. It came down to leaving the gateway field blank on the NIC that is connected to my LAN.
