Computer turns on and turns off right away.

January 24, 2010 at 20:16:48
Specs: Windows Vista
my laptop had always had trouble turning on, and now it wont turn on at all. i think its the power cord. when its plugged in it just flashes but wont turn on. if it does it stays on for 2 seconds and shuts right off. what do i do :(
i have tried taking out the battery for awhile and still nothing. it wont turn on without the battery in. im thinkin i should leave the battery out and leave it unplugged overnight.

no its not a hardware fault this is a virus tht enters in ur boot
sector. which try to stop ur booting so try to to boot ur system in
safemode or directory restore mode via tapping F8 on boot up.
after tht use a fully updated antivirus<i suggest u AVAST>and
scan ur system in boot time scan, it will solve ur problem.
if u r not able to boot ur system even in safe mode then u have to
format it.
