Computer Program to Create an Image of HDD

Specs: Windows XP
Hi Friends,

In the past years, I had to reformat and
reinstall my Windows a couple of times, and
as you probably know it took a couple of hours
for me to reinstall my drivers, applications, etc.

I once heard of products like Norton Ghost
which allows you to create an image of your
HD (once it's all setup), so that when time
comes when you'll need to reformat and
reinstall again, you simply extract that image
and save yourself time of having to go through
the long process of reinstalling.

My question is: do you know of a computer
program available for download on the internet,
that allows me to create an image of my
current HD? I don't like Norton Ghost by the
way, because it forces me to create the image
on a floppy disk (and my computer has no
floppy disk).

Thanks in advance.

Here's a list I found. I use Norton Ghost 14 and I can save my image however I want. The image wouldn't even fit on a floppy. You must have an old version. It's saved my ass a few times.
