How do I know what type of MoBo to purchase, to replace the one that's failed. My computer has an Intel Pentium 4 with an ASUS P5P800. It's just a Generic Computer, that was bought refurbished at a place called PC Recycle. I of course, would like it to be better than it was. How do I go about finding what I need to make this work.

How did you determine it's the Mobo ? It could be a power supply or something else.

Did a Google search...removed all the memory, booted the system up and it didn't beep and my friend's son a Computer IT also check it out and said the MoBo is toast. Now we try to load the system and the BIOS it's DEAD.

Here's 62 of them to choose from. You need an lga775 mobo. I don't know a lot about Intel, just make sure your ram etc. is compatible with the board.
