Clean Start, Then Reload Windows XP

April 6, 2013 at 12:42:50
Specs: PC Windows XP Home, 1.6GHz AMS Dempron
Please / Thanks: I want to clear my hard drive and start fresh; how does one do that? Have existing partitions (C:\programs, etc.; D:\all data files); know how to reload WINXP Home from my disk and other programs, but don't want to replace or overwrite XP again.

Any direction(s) much appreciated.

What is the size of your HDD? Is it SATA or IDE? What are the sizes of the current partitions? Are you saying you're willing to wipe out everything - even the data files? Do you have backups?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
