Specs: Windows XP, 40 gig hard drive?
I love Chrome. Everything's been working fine,
(and better) until two days ago. People send
me .wmv files in emails. I used to be able to
open them, but it seemed they automatically
reverted to Firefox or MS IE to open them. I
didn't care, it was just slow. But two days
ago, every .wmv file NOW appears as audio
only, (NO video) a little music box top left of
my screen, and the audio works fine. I just
get no picture like I used to. I don't think I've
done anything? How I can I fix this?

You need to associate your wmv files with a program that they can be played on. You could use Media Player or whatever software you have installed, that's capable of playing .wmv files. For example, open Media Player and choose the file association option. Tick the boxes with the file extensions you want media player yo use. From that point on, media player will be your default player until you change it. You can also save the attachment and right click it and choose OPEN WITH to view it.
