How to change the default view in the picture saving box? When the box opens I see its contents in the thumbnail view and in reverse alphabetical order. No matter how much I change that it comes back again. The default view for all folders in the folders options is List view. Is there a way to change the picture saving box setting?

TRY this ----
In Windows Explorer or Control Panel,
click Tools in the Menu bar,
click Folder Options,
click View tab,
in Advanced Settings list, find and check mark "Remember each folder's view settings".

After doing the above, and it does not work good enough, then:
After setting a folder to what you want,
go to the View tab in Folder Options, and click the "Apply to all folders" button.

Gentleman, Go to the link below and scroll down to "Folder Views - Keep Settings" and you'll find instructions to manually edit the registry and also a link to download a reg file fix [(Restore Folder Views (Line 2)].

"Windows remembers 400 folders. When that number is reached things start to go wrong. You can up this to 1000 by a
dding this to the registry. All tested and working. Things will last a little longer."
