|OEM's like to put their names on things that are supplied by other Companies. It's not inconsistent to see, say, eMachine logo on a bios setup screen, then when you truly identify the BIOS files, Phoenix, Ami, Award, and others appear on the Bios files and usually on the Motherboard CMOS/Bios chip.|
Lenovo is a Computer Manufacturer, AFAIK they do not Manufacture CMOS/Bios Chips nor Bios instruction sets.
If this is a Laptop and you installed Windows from A M$ Windows CD the Lenovo logo probably got stripped away during the NON-OEM install.
This does not change the Bios, simply reports it accurately.
There is nothing to learn from someone who already agrees with you.
