Certain Websites Do Not Load Properly

Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, 2.204 GHz / 1726 MB
Hi, I hope I didn't miss look over any previous question and answers, but the computer I use at work hasn't been loading certain websites properly when I browse the web during down time.

Yes - I have cleared my cache and cookies, and yes I've tried on FF and IE. AND yes I've told both web browsers to accept these websites ANNND YES I have updated Java...

If both browsers have trouble with these sites, it is probably NOT a version issue. I think that you are coming up against the businesses internet browsing policy. To protect themselves, many businesses block certain types of web sites, As a side effect, some others might become blocked. As a policy, they might wish to block porn or any nude or inappropriate photos, as a side effect, all or most sites posting photographs may be blocked. If you are allowed to do personal browsing on company equipment on your down time, you will need to ask for permission to be given for a specific site to be allowed as an exception.

That could possibly be it... But they were working before, so that's what I don't get. And I've heard of people being caught doing stupid stuff on the internet here before. Plus people are on myspace, and Facebook all the time here and other websites or that nature. I think it's the computer I'm using, it's sorta old. Could it be the software on the computer?
